Mt Huber
Mt Huber is also one of the Canadian Rockies 11,000 ft peaks.
It is best to base at Lake O'Hara in the Elizabith Parker Hut or camp ground.
The route is a long scramble on quartzite to gain the Huber Ledges.
Some glacier travel and snow climbing to the summit.
Best climbed in a day from Lake O'Hara via the Huber Ledges.
Approx. 12 hours return with good conditions.
This route does not get guided until mid summer when the Huber Ledges and slopes above are free of snow.
It is also possible to climb this peak from the SE Ridge of Victoria by descending the West Face onto the Huber glacier.

The bus return to Lake O'Hara is $10.00
Parks Canada back country permit cost $9.00 per night.
