Oh Le Tabernac

climb Oh Le Tabernac Banff Park

Oh Le Tabernac 55m WI 5+ can be found on Mt Wilson and was known for years as Wilson Falls.

This spectacular sunny climb offers a great line up a radical grade 5 pillar. Once the pillar is fat and filled in the climbing gets easier, some times grade 4.

I normally do the route in two pitch's, first to a rock anchor at a ledge on the right 25m, second pitch 30m to top out.

Two stunning pitches in a magnificent position.

If your keen for more ice climbing we can head up to Tabernac Bowl and try a number of routes. Its just over an hour to walk up there from the top of Oh Le Tabernac.

Tabernac Bowl host 5 serious 100m ice routes, the only moderate route is the Meech Lake Memorial Route and it's 60m grade 4 plus, the rest are grade 5-6.
