Pilsner Pillar

Pilsner Pillar

Pilsner Pillar is a famous climb for it's 40m free standing icicle.

At one time considered the hardest route in the world, back in the day, like 1978.
Back when Stubi tools were in.

Its forms a little different each year and some years it gets real fat and is grade 5 climbing to get to the top.

About a 1 hour approach up to the base.

A must try route if you want to try grade 6.
