Ranger Creek

Ranger Creek, heading for The Lone Ranger

Ranger Creek is the first local ice climbing area to come into shape. This drainage offers 3 great climbs.

- The Lone Ranger 120m WI 3
- The Chalice and The Blade 70m WI 5
- R & D 50m WI 4

Great variety of climbs, one hour drive from Canmore, with a one hour hiking approach.
These climbs are all in avalanche terrain and out of shape once a few snow storms have filled the alpine bowls.
November and December are the best months.
