Castle Tower Route

Castle Mountain Tower Route

The Castle Tower is one of the areas Five Star classic long routes
and was first climbed by E. Feuz in 1926.

Rock Bound Lake trail head is where we begin our 2 hour approach on a great trail.

We start by ascending the Dragons Back, easy climbing to 5.6, then traverse the Goat Plateau.

At this point the tower is above you and the 12 pitches start up the left side of the face.

Then across the water course and up the rib to the summit.

Our descent is to rappel back down the route on fixed stations.
This is a big day out around 12 hours return.
Fees are $550.00 for one and $700.00 for two guests.
